According to the Tibet Autonomous Region Sports Bureau, the Tibet delegation won a gold and a bronze medal in the classical wrestling competition of the second National Youth Games of the People's Republic of China that was held from July 26 to 27 in Taiyuan, capital city of north China’s Shanxi Province.
It is reported that the Tibet delegation to the youth games consists of more than 200 athletes who will compete in skiing, archery, boxing, track and field events, rock climbing, wrestling, sailing, taekwondo, equestrian and so on. Of them, a total of 111 people have been qualified for the final.
Up to July 27, the Tibet delegation has won five gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
